The Committee members listened to the reports of Ya.Hadzalo and I.Demchak, Vice-Ministers of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
The reporters believe that introduction of the quota system and licensing of grain, sunflower seeds and sunflower oil export bears negative consequences, though it was to suppress the rise of prices for the said production.
Ya.Hadzalo underscored that introduction of the quota system resulted in a large gap between internal and world prices for the production.
The Committee members deem necessary to enhance the role of the Agrarian Fund in formation of the internal market of grain, sunflower seeds and sunflower oil in order to regulate the situation.
The Committee recommends that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine holds the meeting to discuss the situation at the grain and oil markets in Ukraine due to the introduction of the quota system and licensing of grain export.
